PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

(a) Submission of Application

Application for admission must be in the prescribed form which can be obtained from the School office with the Information Bulletin on payment of Rs.500/- (If by post Rs.700/-) by account payee Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Principal, Udaipur School of Social Work, Udaipur. Filled in application form must be accompanied by :

1.  Registration Fee of Rs.700/-. This amount may be remitted by account payee Bank Demand Draft which must be crossed and drawn in favour of the Principal, Udaipur School of Social Work, Udaipur. Those who personally submit the application at Office may deposit Rs. 700/- in cash. The registration fee is nonrefundable.

2.   Two attested copies of the mark-sheets of the degree or equivalent qualifying examination passed. Those who are awaiting the Final Year result should give I & II year marks which should be 40 per cent and above.

3.   Two attested copies of the Secondary/High School examination certificate.

4.   Attested copies or originals of two recent testimonials regarding the candidate's character and ability, from responsible persons who have known him/her intimately. One of these must be from the Head of the Institution last attended by the candidate.

5.   A certificate about the annual income of parent/guardian shall be supports the student.

6.   In addition to the above, a candidate may also attach attested copies of documents testifying to his/her proficiency in extra-curricular activities, social service etc.

Migration Certificate

Candidates, admitted from other than the Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University, are required to produce migration certificate of the University from which they are migrated along with  Secondary, Sr. Secondary, Bachelor degree and mark sheets at the time of admission.

Applications that do not contain the registration fee and documents listed above, or are otherwise faulty or incomplete, shall be rejected. Any change of address must be communicated to the School immediately.

(b) Registration

Every application that appears to be in order will be registered in the order of their receipt in the School office. Those who wish to obtain the Registration Number and acknowledgement of the application form should attach self addressed and duly stamped envelope. In all future correspondence regarding the candidature, candidate must quote the Registration Number.

Selection Procedure

The selection for admissions to M.A. Social Work Part-I shall be determined on the basis of the merit of marks obtained in X, XII and Bachelor Degree in the manner given :-

Bachelor's Degree           40%

12th                                  20%

10th                                  20%

Personal Interview            20%

                                Total -   100

Those awaiting result of T.D.C. final year may also apply and will be considered for admission provisionally subject to the condition that they will submit their final year T.D. C. marks sheet immediately after the declaration of the result.

If the required number of Applicants do not report on or before 15th july 2018 the institution will adopt the policy of open admission.

Information of Admission

A list of the admitted candidates will be notified on the Notice Board of the School. They will also be informed individually by post but the School will not be responsible for any postal delay or non-receipt of the information. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission are advised to see the Notice Board personally or keep in touch with the office.

Fee Remittance

The candidates admitted shall be required to deposit the prescribed fees up to the notified date, failing which their admission shall stand automatically cancelled and the seat will be offered to the next candidate who is in the merit list. No relaxation shall be granted in this regard.

Enrolment & Withdrawal

Admitted candidates will be enrolled on their paying the prescribed fees within the stipulated time. All enrolments will be treated as provisional until the School office has satisfied itself that enrolment conforms to the University regulations. After his/her admission to M.A. Social Work Part-I leaves the college, he/she shall not be refunded any fee wholly or partially.

NOTE: In case of Disputes the jurisdiction shall be Udaipur City Court.

 

 Academic Session

 The academic session of the school is divided into two semesters, the first/ third semester beginning from the first week of July to December. The second/ fourth semester will commence from January to April.
