Overview

There is a need of good workers and professional managers at grass root level in the rural organizations and the agencies engaged in rural development. In view of this, JRN, Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth (Deemed to be) University, Udaipur attempts to prepare young talented workers and professional managers through unique programme comprises of six semesters with two segments –first is classroom teaching with practical orientation of different subjects during five semesters. Second is, sixth semester devoted for Rural work experience. During this semester students will be placed in the rural area with reputed NGO's for fieldwork training where they will get experimental learning and practical application of knowledge and skill which they have learned in classroom teaching.

The objective to start this course is to develop skills and expertise in different rural technologies with emphasis on practical experience among the students and also to develop confidence in rural work by providing practical training in rural areas for six months. This will help in preparing them a good workers and professional managers at grass root level for the rural development work.
